Use Person in DisplayForm

Hello everyone,

 

I am trying to make a Person.DisplayName appear on a DisplayForm, but I am getting this error on the DisplayForm's Item field: 

 

"Invalid formula. Expected a value compatible with 'DataSource'."

 

How can I format the Person.DisplayName to be accepted into the DisplayForm?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

     

    Typically if you want to add data to a form that is not present in the data source, you use a custom card. Is that what you are using now as well?

    Hello @BCBuizer, thanks for the quick response.

     

    The data is available in the DataSource. The 'Manager' column is a Person. I added it to my DisplayForm by adding it to the 'Fields' within  the DisplayForm's Properties. Now I just want that card to display the Person.DisplayName. I attached a few photos.

    Solution:

     

    I copy/pasted the screen and everything was fixed....

    Glad to read you managed to get  this resolved. Indeed forms have these quirks sometimes.
