Update File Properties - Required Choice field not updating correctly

Hello Everyone,

I have a question regarding the update file properties action. I have a flow that will update a sharepoint field "sign-off status" once the an approval is submitted. This particular field updates ok but the Document Type Value field is causing me problems.

The Document Type Value field on our SharePoint doc library is a required choice field on the document library. If a user selects multiple choices, it will only keep the first choice once the update file properties action runs.

Is there a way to prevent all the choices from disappearing? Am I setting up the action correctly? Also, I've suggested to take of the required setting on this field but the users need for it to stay required.

Hi @jaflores799 ,

You could move the Update file properties action outside Apply to each 27.

Then click the icon to Switch to input entire array and fill Document Type in this field as follows:

Try to use 'Send Http request to SharePoint' action which provides a way to update using the REST API. This action will be very simple and you can provide only the values that you need to update. Please try it out and let us know if you face any error.

I think the field value you are passing to seems to be having only one item or it is not in a desired format a multi choice field accepts.
