Dropdown menu with sharepoint document library

Hello all,

I'm trying to create a single dropdown menu containing all folders on a SharePoint library, but the order is not right.

Because of the existence of multiple folders inside, the dropdown arranges them by level.

for example

I have 2 folders A, B.

A contains A1, A2 and A1 contains A11, A12,...

B contains B1, B2, and B1 contains B11, B12,...

I get the following view :

KBOMBA_0-1617284576703.png

The dropdown code I'm using is :

Filter(Test , IsFolder)

Is there a way to have the folder followed by the folders it contains? (A>A1>A11>A12>A2>A21>A22>B>...)

    Hi @KBOMBA ,

    Please try this formula:

    SortByColumns(Filter(Test,IsFolder),"{Name}")

    Hello @v-xiaochen-msft ,

This solution only works for this specific case where folders have standardized naming, but in an actual case where folders don't necessarily follow a certain naming procedure this won't work, it'll just arrange the folders by name.

    Hi @KBOMBA ,

Please provide a specific folder name instead of an example.

    Hello @v-xiaochen-msft ,

The folder naming scheme is as follows,

In the document library, there are 5 folders ( air treatment - depot equipment - escalators - power - track)

and inside "depot" for example, there are 2 folders ( general - equipment ), in "general" there are 4 folders with different names, and "general" there are 10 folders, inside each of these 14 folders, we have (good practices - lessons) each containing documents related to the parent folder.

It's a bit complicated folder hierarchy, but we have mainly 4 or 5 folder levels.

    Best regards,

    KBomba
