Hi,

I am looking for a way to allow users that have ONLINE ONLY access to Excel, to make changes and save from their online excel to a file in a network drive.

Example: I am uploading a document from my employer's network drive and editing online, because I only have and will only ever have online access. I will not have access/ or a license to edit the document on the desktop app. But I need the changes I make online to save to the document in the network drive so my manager can view the changes I've made from their desktop application. Is there anyway something like this or similar is possible without upgrading to a higher license?

Go to the bottom of the page, and you'll find this:

Hi,
the Office Upload Center has been removed and the feature is now integrated in the specific apps e.g. Excel. You´ll find it under "Files needing attention" when you click File > Open and then you will see the button with an exclamation mark. See screenshot attached.

If there isn´t such button, try one of the other steps described above.

Also try deleting the cache through the GUI of the specific app:

File > Options > Save > Cache Settings > "Delete cached files" Button

It may just be something your desktop users want to pay attention to and see if the exclamation mark is there each time they open the file.
