I'm using launch mailto, in the body, I want the display name space to be autofilled based on the below user email address. But due to limit knowledge, cannot figure out the proper method or function. Does anyone know how to make it? Really thanks!

    Hi @WQQ01 ,

    The Launch() function takes in a normal string, so you can manipulate it however you would normally manipulate strings, including injecting formulas.

    You can prepare the string as a variable and pass it to Launch(), or just do it in-line.

    Here's some inline examples:

    Launch($"mailto:someone@home.com?subject=Some Subject&body=The email address of this user is:{User().Email}.")

    You can also string strings together using "" & formula & ""

    Launch("mailto:someone@home.com?subject=Some Subject&body=The email address of this user is:" & User().Email & ".")

    but that can get messy if you're passing in a lot of variables - it's generally better to use the $"{}" format

    $"......{formula}....{formula}....."

    to insert formulas into strings as it's easier to read.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi @WQQ01,

    You can use the following structure whenever using mailto:

    Launch(
     "mailto: email@email.com",
     {
     Subject: "Apply for Role Access",
     Body: $"This is a full sentence followed by a new line which can be achieved by using curly brackets and Char 13.{Char(13)}To get data from controls or to use functions in general when using string interpolation (see dollar sign before first double quote), simply use curly brackets and your control name or function as such: {TextInput1.Text}"
     }
    )

    Please find further information within the mail body itself. That should do the trick. 😊

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

    Thanks! It works! I use the function: "& user().fullname &" successfully get the full name based on the email address.
