Hi all,

I am creating a PowerApp using SharePoint Online list as data source. That is a configuration list on which one of the columns is a Picture field and I am trying to display the image on a page in my PowerApp.

When I use a link for a picture from one of my on-prem libraries, the picture is shown as expected, but when I use a link from a library which is on the same site as the configuration list, it doesn't seem to be reading it.

I susspected that is the picture type, so I have changed it from a PNG to a JPG, but it made no difference.

I'm not sure whether it's me being stupid or there's some kind of logical explanation for this, but I honestly can't find a solution for this.

Can someone help me with this please?

What is on-prem library?

I created a list in my SharePoint and one of the columns was a Picture field. It had two items.
>For item1, I found a picture from Internet, and I used its Source URL for the picture column.
>For item2, I had a library which I had created on the same site and I uploaded a picture to the library. Then I used the picture’s URL from the library for the picture column.

After completing the list, I connected it to my APP and showed it in a gallery. As a result, the picture used its Source URL from Internet was shown, while the picture used URL from the library on the same site was not shown.

I found some information which says “PowerApps supports lists but not libraries”, so the data from libraries may be not supported by PowerApps.

Hi MabelMao,

The on-prem is a documnt library (the default Site Assets) on our on premise farm. As you have explained, it does read the picture from this library, but it doesn't seem to be reading it from the online library.

It might be to do with that limitation as you said...it might be a workaround for now to store the pictures on the on-prem and wait for them to realease the support for libraries.
