I have created a SMTP connection with the correct server and account information.
When I do a simple test in my Power App, all the code is underlined in red and this is the error:

Can anyone please shed some light on this issue?
I found the problem and hopefully this will help someone else.
I was testing sending email to my corporate email address which is controlled by Mimecast policies.
When I tried an external/personal account it worked fine.
We need to allow the SMTP connector's sender address/domain on Mimecast.
