Table shown as empty

Hello everyone

I am having issues with a Dataverse table I created for a Powerapp.

In the app, the entries are visible, but when I want to see the table from the Powerplatform rather than the app, I don't see any items.

I have tried everything, clearing my cache, restarting my PC, using another browser, looked at settings, views, user-permissions and and and...

I really hope someone can help me here.

Kind regards

Julien

    Hi @jfeghali

    Several points to consider.

Validate that the source of your gallery is the Dataverse table directly and not a collection.

Validate that the connection is pointing to the correct dataverse environment.

A simple test creates a new gallery and checks if it displays data. In the end the data resides in Dataverse not in the App unless it is in a

    Hi @Jmanriquerios

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I have checked all your points.

My App is connected directly to the table, the source of my gallery is the table itself and not a collection.

It is all in the correct environment.

I have tested it by creating a new gallery and linking it directly to the table without any filters and the gallery shows the same values, yet the table still somehow seems to be empty when viewed from the powerplatform and not an app.

I also went as far as creating a test flow, which successfully fetches the same data as the app.

    The error must reside elsewhere.

    Hi @jfeghali

It must be a Make.PowerApps.com problem, I suggest you open a ticket to MSFT reporting this failure. Also, if you don't leave it, verify that the make.powerapps.com environment is the same one where your canvas app data points..

    Hey @Jmanriquerios

Thanks for your support. I will first look with our IT department to see if they perhaps restricted access.

If they didn't, I will open a ticket.

Again, thank you for your help!

    Best regards

I'm encountering the same in MS Teams's Power Apps. The data is still there (thankfully) but in at least Power Apps app published by Microsoft Version 0.7 the dataverse table is not showing any records.

If I export the table using Power Automate I do get the data and any changes I make to the data via my app is reflected in a PowerBI report which pulls in the data.

I'm not sure if its related but the table recently grew to 100 rows (tiny I know) but the other tables that still show data in the editor are less than that.

    Update:
It appears not to affect the data editor thats accessible from within the App builder ide (Presuming your app has a connection to the table in question). From within the ide click the left menu (which helps to switch between tree view of components, media, themes, variable and choose data, there you will see the list of data sources, find the dataverse table and click the menu to access the edit.
