Am trying to use Gallery as data entering source to my collections. I connected Gallery to my collections, but during preview mode Text box, DatePicker and all items in the line are not visible. Am using PowerApp for Teams. Edit Mode & Preview Mode are shown below.

    Hi @paul_peter20 ,

    If it is an empty collection (have 0 item) you will not be able to see any controls in the Gallery, regardless in Power Apps studio or Power Apps for Teams. All controls that inside a Gallery will display only when there is an item as ThisItem.

    Hope this helps.

    Ok got it. I made some corrections again. Now am getting duplicate rows, supposed to get only one row.
    This the youtube video I followed to create the Gallery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wI6SHGQ9ATg

    And when I click ADD row feature on this Gallery.  It creating duplicates as mentioned below, supposed to display the 1 row and the additonal row which added(total 2 rows). Any idea on this?

    This the OnSelect function for EDIT/VIEW Button
    If(
    varGridEdit,
    Patch(Task,
    colGridData
    )
    );
    Select(btnLoadData);
    Set(
    varGridEdit,
    !varGridEdit
    );

    And this the OnSelect function ADD button

    Set(varNumber,varNumber+1);Collect(colGridData,Patch(varNewRecord,{ID: varNumber}))

    Data source is Collection (Task)

    Hi @paul_peter20 ,

    In Reza's video at about 12:10, he has a variable set OnStart of the App control that:

    Set(varNewRecord, Defaults(SPlist))

    So OnSelect of the Add button, he could use below code to add a new record in the grid with default values:

    Collect(colGridData,varNewRecord)

    This will get one single record inserted into the grid.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi it seems the duplicates are getting added before the ADD button feature is used. I re-did from the Patching and there is two Select(btnLoadData). One for the button OnSelect and another for HomeScreen OnVisible variables. Suspect having two btnLoadData function just creating the duplicates.

    And there is intermittent error for this Button OnSelect function. Any idea whats this about?

    Hi @paul_peter20 ,

    Below is a blog for your reference:

    For the Select functions, you may remove one from the button which is not used to select a record.

    Hope this helps.
