Hello

I am trying to create a flow for sharepoint task list.

When someone ticked a box (complete the task) I want another column in the task list to be updated with a name of the person who did it. I want also another column with the time of the completion.

What do I insert here: I tried with the name of the task list

Thank you so much

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The first flow step in your screenshot is when a task completed related to outlook?

If that's correct then you should be able to select which task you want to monitor via flow when it's completed.

In my case I created a task in outlook. Then created the flow. Select the task. See below screenshot.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

You seem to want to update the Task list item, but you are using the trigger related to the Outlook task list.

You could refer to the following method to configure Flow.

I created two columns, CompletedPersonName and CompleteDate in SharePoint task list, of type Text and Date.

    • Use When an item is created or modified as the trigger, and click Enter custom value to manually populate the Task list name.
    • Configure the following conditions to determine whether the current item is as expected:
    1.   Whether Created is equal to Modified.
    2.   Whether %Completed is equal to 1.
    3.   Whether CompletedDate is equal to null.
    • If the following conditions are met, the item is updated. Except for the fields that need to be updated, the other fields do not need to be configured.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,
