Populating Word Template with Yes/No drop down and Directory Drop Down

My MS Word Template is correctly populating some fields (like string text, dates, etc), but it is not populating the selected name from a directory drop down, nor a Yes/No drop down, nor a Request Status Drop Down. See screen shot. I am guessing this has to do with data types but do not know how to proceed. TY in advance!!
