    Hi @gcizman2024 ,

    Are you just trying to get the value of the selected item from a dropdown? If so you can just use:

    Dropdown1.Selected.Value

    replacing Dropdown1 with the name of your dropdown control.

    Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    @gcizman2024 I'm not 100% following what you are trying to do? Are you trying to use the value selected in that dropdown elsewhere in the app? Or are you trying to limit what values show in that dropdown?

    @SharePointJB , yes trying to limit the value, if example receive an email with my power app form, on dropdown list must show the given limit value. Is it possible to do this on power app/automate?

    How are you determining what value it should be limited to?

    @SharePointJB , that the question keep on my mind, e.g i have 4 values(draft, request action, complete for approval and submit for approval)

    You could potentially use a url parameter to set the value you want. You could then filter the options available in the dropdown based on this. So you items value for the dropdown would be something like:

    If(!IsBlank(Param("limitValue")),Filter(Choices([LISTNAME].Status),ThisRecord.Value = Param("limitValue")),Choices([LISTNAME].Status))

    then pass in an extra parameter in your app url by adding the following to the end:

    &limitValue=Complete for approval

    This should filter the items in the dropdown to only show the one specified in the url. If nothing is passed by the url then all values will show.

    Hi @gcizman2024

    You can't hide them in the dropdown but you can show online that specific value in the dropdown.

    In my ComboboxCanvas in the Item property I added the following:

    ['Corrective and Preventative-Action (Inventory Managements)'.'request action']

     In the DefaultSelectedItems I have added the selected record:

    {Value:'Corrective and Preventative-Action (Inventory Managements)'.'request action'}

    Then this is my results:

    But you can Include the whole item list also and then have the DefaultSelectedItems select the value for you:

    SpongYe_1-1712832994599.png

    Then this is your code:

    Choices(
     'Corrective and Preventative-Action (Inventory Managements)'
    )

    //Old code ['Corrective and Preventative-Action (Inventory Managements)'.'request action']

    If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know. Have a great day! 😊
