Cannot create Sharepoint connection for Guest acccount

Posted on by

Hello,

I have a Guest account for another AD org and the account works fine with Sharepoint site on web browser.

But when I create new connection to Sharepoint site with that account in Power App. I got the below error:

{
  "error_description": "Exception of type 'Microsoft.IdentityModel.Tokens.AudienceUriValidationFailedException' was thrown."
}

Is there any policies prevent this Guest account to access Sharepoint in Power App?

Thanks in advance

    pls try the following:

    Use a tool like Postman to test the guest account’s ability to access the SharePoint API. If it fails, the issue lies in authentication or permissions.
    Confirm that the guest account has MFA configured if required by policies. Ensure the account is not blocked or disabled.

    Bunch of place, your company/vendor have security guardrails:
    Azure AD Conditional Access Policies
    SharePoint Site Permissions
    Azure AD External Collaboration Settings
    Power Apps Connector Authentication
    Tenant Restrictions
    Application Permissions Issue

    Pls work with your admin to resolve!
