ReportI have these two formulas that seem to be identical yet one works and the other does not.
What your looking at below in the first picture is the formula for the Text property of a Text control. The Text control in question is the one that is displaying "Epson." The "CurrentProjectorRecord" is a variable that is effectively "GalleryControlName.Selected", where the gallery is a list of projectors.
Then I reference the related table 'Projector Model' and then the choice column of that table 'Manufacturer' which returns the correct manufacturer name for the selected record.
However, I am using an identical structure for a set of records for TV monitors, yet the formula with the exact same structure returns the empty string. (I have verified that there is indeed a listed manufacturer in the chosen record.)
Has anyone experienced a bug like this, or am I missing something?
