Can I use filter and search together for a data table

Hi,

I am trying to filter a data table to show much all the records which are approved and have the same title as a datacard in a form.

The following code works to just bring back all the titles which are the same:

Search('datasource',DataCardValue10.Text,"Title")

I have tried filter but can't call DataCardValue10 as text.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I'm going to assume you have some kind of status column here - you should be able to use something like the following to filter for both Titles that start with (i.e. search) and have a status of Approved:

Filter( 'Data Source Name', StartsWith(Title, DataCardValue10.Text), Status = "Approved" )

If your status column is a Choice then something like this:

Filter( 'Data Source Name', StartsWith(Title, DataCardValue10.Text), Status.Value = "Approved" )

You'd do this by nesting the 2 calls.

The formula would look something like this:

Filter( Search('datasource', DataCardValue10.Text, "Title" ), RecordStatus="Approved" )
