Hi,

I have created a flow that sends out each week to managers of our business about who's birthday it is that week for their team.

This is what it looks like:

I have added a get manager part and used the same append array feature to then get the managers email.

However, when I run the flow - it reads true but then doesn't work at the final compose?

It says that "Resource 'manager' does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects are not present"?

When I take away the manager part of the flow and just get the employees full name and birthday from the append to compose the flow works fine. As soon as I add the features to get manager it doesnt work?

Hi @DynamicsHS
can you try below snap?
Get manager usually fails in scenarios where manager is not configured against a O365 user.

setup :
right side of var 4 : configure to run after get manager has failed
left side of var 3: configure to run on success of get manager
condition : in condition you can check for null and proceed as needed.

Hi @Shujaath_Khan ,

I tried your steps:
The flow is grabbing the managers email which means it recognises that this is the employees managers email but it still fails?
Am i missing something on my end?

Hi, please use scope the way I've implemented.
And condition action would be configured to run after both success and failure of scope thanks

Hey, right side of var should be configured on runafter failure believe.
Only any one leg is to be executed either sucess or failure thanks

Apologies, as I may be missing something. But I am still confused as to why I cannot get the managers email in the compose and place it in a email?
