How to filter get items properly for people?

hey there

I was wondering how you can use get items to filter by a person? I have a column, let's call it "person", which includes the employee (it's a people picker field). Whenever I make use of the filter option from get items it won't return me any results. Ideally, I'd like to filter by the email "attribute" of that field. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Cheers

    Hi @FabianAckeret ,

It is not feasible to use Filter Query to filter items with Person filed.

You could consider using Filter array to filter items.

If Person field does not allow multiple selections, please refer to the screenshot below to configure Flow.

Please take a try and if you have further needs, please provide more details.

Why does hard coding the email address work but using a dynamic value does not?

I was able to work around this issue by first initializing a new variable called emailAddress. Then filtering the array with the variable. Still wondering why the direct comparison doesn't function as I expected.

I tried editing in advanced mode for functions string(), toUpper(), and tried operator contains.

Hi @v-bacao-msft , I have been struggling to filter the person field that allows multiple selections. I tried 'filter array' but it seems nothing is filtered. Does it require a different method? TIA
