CSV Export for "Assigned To" shows [{DisplayName":"Jim Smith"}].

My csv export of a filtered gallery is working well. My columns of Activity, Start Date, and Due Date all export great, but the "Assigned To" column shows the following text:  [{DisplayName":"Jim Smith"}]. This is a multi-select people-picker column.  Any ideas on how to make it so it just shows the names of selected individuals, separated by a comma?

I've tried in PowerApps, but don't know where I'm not getting it. Another option would be to create a single text line in my SharePoint list based on the multi-select drop-down, and then reference that single text line. But, I haven't found how to do that. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Here's my exported csv file.

    Please consider changing your Formula to the following:

    With({_data:
     JSON(
     ForAll(ADKARBlueprintGallery.AllItems,
     {'1-Project Name': ProjectLookUp.Value,
     '2-ADKAR Milestone': ADKAR.Value.
     '3-Activity': Activity,
     '4-Assigned to': With({_L: Concat('Assigned to', DisplayName & ", ")}, Left(_L, Len(_L)-2)),
     '5-StartDate': 'Start date',
     '6-Due Date': 'Due date'
     }
     ),
     IncludeBinaryData & IgnorUnsupportedTypes
     )
     },

     Set(varFileLink, ExporttoExcel.Run(_data).filelink)
    );

    If(!IsBlank(varFileLink), Launch(varFileLink))

    I hope this is helpful for you.

    Thank you, @RandyHayes!!! It worked!!! I'll have to look more into the "With" function to understand exactly why it worked. I appreciate it tremendously.

    @Anonymous

    Actually, it wasn't so much the With that solved anything.  The real solution in your formula was to concat the Display Names rather than just reference the column - which is a table of records if it is multi-select.

    The main purpose of the first With is to  just gather the JSON of the Table created by the ForAll.  ForAll is a function that returns a Table, it is not a For/Next loop.  So, in your original formula you were using it backward as a For/loop and this is just overhead you don't need.

    So, the first With gets the JSON text of the conversion and is then passed to the flow.

    The other With that is in the Assigned to column, is just there to type less!  What it does is do the concat statement which returns a text value to the _L variable.  That will have a trailing comma and space.  So, the trick is to just capture that string, then take the left characters minus the last 2.

    That's about it!

    Glad it is working for you now.
