Hi Team,

getting error while lookup between two list in Dataverse

1st list Tracker has column as assigned_to its a choice column

2nd list shortcode the list contains a short code against name

LookUp(Short_Code,'Full Name' = assignedto.Selected.Value).'Short Code'
 
Error - 'Error when trying to retrieve data from the network: A binary operator with incompatible types was detected. Found operand types 'Edm.String' and 'Edm.Int32' for operator kind 'Equal'.'

The error message you're encountering suggests that there's a type mismatch between the values being compared in your Lookup formula. Specifically, the formula is comparing a string to an integer, which is causing the issue.

You can modify the formula as shown below:

LookUp(Short_Code, 'Full Name' = Text(assignedto.Selected.Value)).'Short Code'

Ensure Correct Data Types: Make sure that assignedto.Selected.Value is in text format.

I have used the Text function to explicitly convert the selected value to a string if needed.
