Hello,
I'm planning on building layered approval workflow.
I want to use a power app to create sharepoint items for each application and a state machine in power automate that will go through the two levels of approval required.
I want to show the current status of the request in the power app. However, I also want to give the employees the ability to cancel their request. Now, if the employee cancels the request, that should change the status to 'retracted' and end the flow.
I could include conditions in the flow that will check if the status is retracted and only proceed if it's not.
However, that will not delete the pending approval from the list of approvals for the manager.
Is there maybe a way to have a second flow that will run when a SP-list item is updated (only under the condition that the status is 'retracted') and delete the approval... and maybe even abort the other flow?
Or do you have any other ideas how to tackle that?
Thanks!
