Extract Data From excell

I am looking for a way to extract data from an excel spreadsheet and present it in a neat way.

Here is my situation.

I have several excel sheets that collect information on teacher training. Every time a teacher fills out a request for training , when I approve it, it populates to a spreadsheet. ex 1 sheet of Virtual, 1 for Credit Courses, 1 for Non-Credit Courses, 1 for Action Research

I would like to create a flow that quickly gives me an overview of the totals spent for each spreadsheet/category when my committee requests an update of what is spend / what is left in funding. On each sheet, I do have a cell that has the total value spent.

I was thinking, would I create a flow that populates and excel sheet from data(cells) from my other sheets? Or would there be another way to do this - perhaps that also autocreates nice visuals.

    Hi Michell,

From my opinion, first, you just need to create an excel template where you have your summary report with nice visuals as a template. Then, when you have a request for an update of what is spent / what is left in funding, you just need to have a flow to read the data from your excel files and consolidate your data before writing it into your summary report. You also need to create a copy of your template for each request to make the summary report as an unique file and keep your original template.

Thanks and hope it can help

    Mike
