User Interface Editing

Upon creating a PowerApp form from a Sharepoint list, I am presented with a relatively simple app. The three screens presented on the app are the browse, detail, and edit screen. I only have a need for the edit screen, as it allows users to fill out a form and submit it properly. There is no need for them to edit or view the details of each submission within the app, as they are permitted to do so through list view. How do I go about removing the browse and detail screen to simplify the process even further? Any time an attempt to delete even a minor object is made, I find myself having to backtrack/undo the action due to the way everything is linked.

Get rid of the screens you don't want and keep the screen with the new form in it.  Make sure the form DefaultMode is New and that is all you need.

I hope this is helpful for you.

The item field located in data is now reading an error code due to BrowseGallery1.Selected being deleted. It was on one of the screens deleted.

Do I need to move the BrowseGallery1 item into the edit screen and hide it from view? What are my options?

You stated that you did not want a browse gallery and only wanted the new form capability.

So, get rid of everything except the screen with your form in it.

If there is an error for the Item property, then just delete the formula in that property as you don't need it if your form is in New mode always.
