Enter item manually to PowerApps Dropdown column

Hi all,

I have a SharePoint list with a choice column "Case number". In the columns parameters, I have enable "Allow 'Fill-in' choices". This column is also a mandatory column. Unfortunately, when I use a powerapps form, it does not take into account the user's manual entry and saves the request only when the choice has been made in the list.

I have seen several topics on this problem but each time using an additional textbox when the user selected "other" in the choices. Is it possible to retrieve the text written by the user and add it to the choices in the initial list? I've tried a formula but I have a problem with the type of argument.

Do you have a solution?

Can you try to update the expression to:

Coalesce(DataCardValue2.Selected,{Value:DataCardValue2.SearchText})

Thank you for your prompt answer.
I no longer have a problem with the formula, the primary function is fulfilled. On the other hand, I can now validate the form without having selected or entered a value. This formula bypasses the mandatory requirement. Do you have a solution?

I set nothing in the "Default" field of the map. I set nothing in the "Default" and "DefaultSelectedItem" tabs of the drop-down list box. However, the Coalesce function must not be empty since no blockage appears on save.
