Hi i have a login screen connected in a sharepoint list and works fine when i type the credentials it navigates me to the screen i want, the thing i get stuck is in the new screen i have data that i want to be filtered by the user is connected those data are connected with excel file, how can i when someone connecting the data in the new screen filtered?
Hi @skourtip ,
I assume that the data you want to filter by sign in user includes a column which could identify a user. For example, there is a Email column in your data table, which is used to bind to specific user, then you could use following formula to filter your data records:
Filter( 'Your Data Table', Email = User().Email )
Hopes that above formula could achieve your needs.
Best Regards,
Kris
Hi i have in the new screen a data table and when i give this filter function with my data from the login sharepoint list it dosent filter the data from the excel file list it gives error
Would you mind sharing your formula here?
You could consider store data from your login sharepoint list into a variable:
Set(loginData, "xxxx@email.com") // store your login sharepoint list data into a variable
Within your Data Table control, you should set the Items property to following formula:
Filter( 'Excel Data Source', EmailColumn = loginData // EmailColumn represents a identify column, which could recognize a specific user )
