Attachment quality from CDS

Hello,

We are using a form within powerapps to upload attachments to CDS entity using camera roll option. The files attach to the record fine, and upload to CDS, however when we look up the record again and click on the attachments to download from CDS the quality of the image is very poor and the attachment file size is very low in KB range.

If we take the image directly with the iPhone/iPad the photo size is a few MB, so it seems that either the upload to CDS or download from CDS is reducing the file size of the photo and therefore the quality of the image.

Is there anything I can change to allow for the full picture quality to be uploaded/downloaded from the CDS entity?

Thanks in advance

    Hi @Deriooo ,

Could you please share a bit more about your issue?

Do you mean that image size would be reduced automatically when you download attachments file from your CDS Entity within your Mobile device?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I think this issue may be related to the "Optimize images for upload" setting within your Mobile device:6.JPG

In default, the "Optimize images for upload" setting would be turned on within your PowerApps Mobile App. When you upload pictures from your local mobile device, the uploaded pictures would be compressed.

Please consider take a try to turn off the "Optimize images for upload" setting within your PowerApps Mobile App, then try it again, check if the issue is solved.

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-xida-msft

Yes the optimize image setting was causing my issue, since turning this off the images are back to original quality.

    Many thanks for you help!

Is there a way to disable the "Optimize images for upload" setting through Mobile Device Management (Intune)?
