SharePoint PowerApps Form - Repeating Table Gallery

Hi,

I have two SharePoint lists. 1. Issues List 2. Efforts list. For each issue, I need to capture the effort needed from all the teams. What I have so far is having a working gallery features to capture the effort needed by multiple teams to resolve an issue. I am able to create tabs and write my data to effort list etc.

Now when I try to open a record in Issues list, the form is pulling all the information from Issues list and but my gallery function is blank. What should be my formula to display the gallery details in view & Edit mode?

Hi @Lana ,
What is the Items property of your Gallery? If you make it the list, you should be able to see all items. You can then Filter it as needed.

I have to show the gallery in new & edit mode in the same screen. So I have this formula. However the textInput values are throwing error saying Name isn't valid

If(varmode=FormMode.New,TestGalleryItems,Filter(testdetails,Value(test2)=SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID))

What am I doing wrong?

I am a little confused here - if this is the Items of your gallery
If( varmode=FormMode.New, TestGalleryItems, Filter( testdetails, Value(test2)=SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID ) )
then in New mode it will show whatever is in TestGalleryItems, however in other modes, it can only display a maximum of one record where the ID in test2 equals the ID of the item you launched originally from SharePoint.

Thank you for taking your time to write a reply. Basically what I am trying to achieve is in the new mode, I want to show my collection if I add any records while in the new mode. If I am in edit/display mode I want to pull all the records from my child list when my parentID field in my child list is equal to selected item.

Does that makes sense?

Hi @Lana ,
Assuming testdetails is your second list and test2 is the matching field, the only thing stopping it displaying the items required would be if test2 was numeric and then you would not need Value( in front of it.
