Check logs during flow execution

Hello,

 

I want to better understand how the "Log message" action works on Power Automate for Desktop. Is there a way of visualizing these log messages during flow execution? Or do we have to wait until the whole flow is finished to see them in the "Run details" page of the Power Automate platform?

    Hi @JuanPuelloUSGBC ,

     

    These log messages are not visible during the flow execution when the flow is executed through the Power Automate for Desktop designer. They are uploaded to the Power Automate service and are visible in the flow run action details view of the Power Automate portal. This means you would have to wait until the whole flow is finished to see them in the “Run details” page of the Power Automate platform.You check here as shown in below image.

    If I understand your question correctly, you're mentioning the "Logging" package in Power Automate Desktop.

    I believe it's not designed to operate in real-time. You can only view the log message once the flow has completed. Typically, most of the people opt for a setup where the flow updates a CSV file midway through, and this file is stored on platforms like OneDrive or other cloud storage services.
