I have the following issue:
- Through the advanced find, I export a selected list of records to excel
- These records have a specific flag field, so I update another field with a value in excel (based on the flag)
- On the advanced settings --> data management I run an import uploading the updated excel file. Dynamics will recognize this as an update and not ask for any further data mapping
- Once dataverse updates the other field with the value changed on the excel file, a Power Automate should trigger (but doesn't)
The power automate flow does trigger when I for example manually update records through the UI. However, I need to bulk update records so that is no solution.
The Power Automate trigger is "When a record is modified".
The use case is basically that the status of historical sales orders has to be updated to 'fulfilled'. Therefore, we
- Import sales orders (with status active)
- Import Order Products
- And finally want to change the status of certain orders to fulfilled.
The workaround for now seems to be using a workflow instead of a Power Automate Flow.
