Button transparency in Powerapps for Teams

Very simply, no matter what I try, I can't get these buttons to become transparent to expose what is behind them.  This is within powerapps for Teams.  Any suggestions?  There is no "FILL" property for the button in powerapps for Teams, only Fillcolor.

The fillcolor properties of a Button use the RGBA() function to set the color.  The fourth parameter of that function is the transparency from 0 fully transparent to 1 solid.  Setting that value to a decimal or a percentage will adjust the transparency.  Here's a button that is 50% transparent.

What I discovered further was that 0 value doesn't actually work.  It has to be a non-Zero value. 0.01 for example.  If I set it to 0, then it is as if it almost ignores it.  I am assuming that is a bug.

Experiencing the same thing,, 1 year later.... very annoying.  The "Transparent" value doesn't work either.

I just tried it again and it works as I described, other than the fact that they have changed the Fill property to FillColor now.  Here's a screenshot of three buttons with the following three FillColor formulas

    RGBA(255, 0, 0, 0)
    RGBA(255, 0, 0, .5)
    RGBA(255, 0, 0, 1)

As you can see the one with 0 is Transparent, the one with .5 is shaded, and the one with 1 is solid.

@Pstork1 Thank you for the response! However, you can see that the 1st button is not transparent at all, you can see it.  A value of 0 should be completely invisible, as it used to be.  I am working with PA for Teams and trying the trick of using an invisible button for a clickable action on a navigation; which doesn't work because the Transparent property doesn't work and now there is a button shadow I can't figure out how to remove easily.

Edit: I just realized you were only doing the FillColor, haha (which doesn't work in PA for Teams either).

The only reason you can see it is that I changed the color of the font and the border.  The background of the button is completely Transparent.  And that screenshot was taken from a button in an app created in PA for Teams.  In PA for Teams the button defaults to a theme color.  You have to actually apply a color to fillcolor using RGBA() and set the transparency attribute of that to 0.  You can't just set the transparency without setting the color that is transparent. In terms of the shadow, I'm not sure how you would get rid of that.  That shadow is only there in PA in Teams.  But its not configurable.  But that's different than saying the transparency setting on the color of the fill doesn't work.

The comment about setting the color was the key and I didn't know / haven't found that yet!  Doing Transparent or RGBA(0,0,0,0) doesn't work.  Adding 255 works!  So strange!  I still can't get rid of the shadow easily so I switched to an Icon.  I get the same benefits as the button without the headache.  Thank you for you quick replies! 😃

It baffles me that this is still an issue. Why not have remove drop shadow setting on buttons? Everything else gets it.
