Is there a way to add a business process flow to a canvas app?

Invoke a Microsoft Flow from the PowerApp to perform the necessary workflow. First create the flow with Microsoft Flow. Then go to Flows located on the Action tab within PowerApps and select the flow you created and use it within an action field in your app. For example, when you save a form in PowerApps, you might initiate a Flow which sends an email with an approval request in Flow.

Apologies for jumping on this post.
But I have the same issue.
I have a BPF model driven app with 5 stages and 2 notification email flow, I cannot see any of my flows in my Canvas App(action tab).
Does it require customer connectors (CDS API) ?
If it is possible, can you please post the steps.
