Dropdown resetting on screen change.

I'm sure the answer is already out there but after hours of searching im unable to make a difference.

 

I have a form, with 2 screens. the first screen has a dropdown on there, when i navigate to screen 2, the dropdown changes to the first one, I don't have a default.

Does anybody know how to amend this, so it stays on the dropdown value throughout any screens.

    Create a global variable that is set to the value that is selected in your dropdown. Then use this variable as default value in your dropdown.
