Sequential Approval - No notification in Teams for second approver

I build a workflow with the step "Start and wait for Approval" -> "Sequential Approval"

The first approver receives a notification in MS Teams, it does play a sound and is visible under Activity.

After the first approval the second approver however does not receive the notification and can only find the approval request when actively searching for it in the approvals menu.

After the second approval was accepted everybody receives the "Final status: Completed" notification.

The Approvals Notifications are set to On by default.

Why does the second approver not receive the notification and how can I fix that? Unfortunately to me it seems like MS Teams just does not fully support the sequential approvals at this point.
