Isolate main screen

Hi,

 

I am trying to isolate the Gallery on the second screen to the main screen so the main screen preselects the login user row on the sharepoint list.

 

This is my code on the main screen but every time I select a different list on the second screen the main screen follows. Do any idea how it can be resolved?

 

Patch(MyInOut,LookUp(MyInOut,NAME = varUser.FullName), {Status: If(BrowseGallery1.Selected.Status = "Out", "In", "Out"), UPDATED: Now()})

    If I understand what you're saying, you have two galleries -- one on the first screen and one on the second. If they are using the same List as their Items, then yes, they will mirror each other. If you are trying to separate that, then one of them needs to use a Collection. That way you can control when the data updates.

    Also, if you decide to use a Collection, you will very much need to review Delegation. Your Collection can only contain the first 500 - 2000 items (depending on your settings). Maybe you already know that, but any time I mention Collections I like to remind about delegation.
