View Data from SharePoint List Record in Two Different Forms in the same PowerApp

I have a SharePoint List Customized Form that I created in PowerApps.

  • The edit form I use in my app, SharePointForm1,  is based on the 'Intake Requests' list.
  • I have a second edit form in my app, Form1, used to make admin updates to  two fields in the the same list - 'Intake Requests'.
  • This setup works perfectly

When I publish the form and then view a record, the form pulls in the current record and I can see the data.

But I can only see the data for fields in SharePointForm1 and not the two fields in Form1.

I suspect it has something to do with the Item property of Form1, but I cannot seem to find the answer.

Here is what I have in the Item property of SharePointForm1 (which works):

LookUp(
'Intake Requests',
ID = SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID
)

Any ideas on what to do so that Form1 also pulls up data from the same SharePoint list (columns Status, Review Date) when I view a record inside the form?

    @C4men - this sounds obvious to me at least but I still have to ask - why not simply apply what you have in the Items property in SharePointForm1 to Form1?

    E.g.

    LookUp(
     'Intake Requests',
     ID = SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID
    )

    Or:

    If(
     IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected),
     First('Intake Requests'),
     SharePointIntegration.Selected
    )

    Or:

    LookUp(
     'Intake Requests',
     ID = SharePointIntegration.Selected.ID
    )

    Thanks for the reply!

    I agree - it certainly seems obvious but it was not working for some reason.

    That said, after trying a few things this morning, I believe I found the issue.

    I did end up using the original code (from SharePointForm1) in the Item property of Form1.

    LookUp(
     'Intake Requests',
     ID = SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID
    )

    The piece that finally made the difference:

    I had to go into the SharePoint Integration and add Form1 to the OnView and OnEdit properties in advanced settings (in addition to SharePointForm1).

    So now those two properties look like this:

    Seems to be working now. Thanks for the help!
