Hi all,

I am trying to patch columns to the SharePoint list with this formula:

Patch(colGridDataSOC,ThisItem,

{ Title:Title.Text,

 'Customer Name':'Customer Name'.Text,

'Project ID':'Project ID'.Selected,

'Service Name':'Service Name'.Selected,

'Hours Spent':Value('Hours Spent'.Text),

'Request Date':'Request Date'.SelectedDate,

'Approval Date':'Approval Date'.SelectedDate,

'Execution Date':'Execution Date'.SelectedDate,

Comments:Comments.Text })

and I'm getting this error: this formula has side effects and cannot be evaluated

I tried to rewrite the the formula and change screen nothing works.

Hi @lidor_dayan ,

Behavior formulas will always have side effects and cannot be evaluated, because it cannot show you the preview result if it's not fired.

I have the same issue and the variable does not work at all in my case. I did not have this message before. Just started showing up a few days back. Any thoughts are appreciated.
