I'm new to PowerApps, and in over my head 😞 I'm building a complex app (my first app ever) with 10+ screens & tabs writing to a single SP list. Each screen has between 2 & 5 tabs and a form - which works out to roughly 25 forms. Users enter data on the forms and then "save" it to SP as they progress through the process. I also want to present the user with the entire record on a review screen/form so that they can correct any errors before exiting the process/app. I don't want to use SubmitForm because it clears the form after submission so I think Patch is the way to go. There is also potential in our rural area for connectivity to be spotty and I don't want to risk the user losing a bunch of data if they hit a dead spot, however if you have other ideas, let me know. Note: I'm committed to using Forms and do not have the time to take on changing everything to individual controls.
Questions
1. I can't seem to get the syntax right to create the record in SP and then add the data as the user progresses through all of the subsequent forms data.
2. Then how to display the entire record on the review form.
3. I was planning on having 1 "save" button at the end of each set of tabs, e.g. per section (Notifications, Details, Conditions, etc.) but that's not very user friendly so could I potentially add the Patch Function to the OnSelect property of each of the left Nav tabs?
I've attached a screenshot but I can't show the form due to confidentiality.
Sorry for all the questions!
Thanks in advance,
Newbie (Roxann)
