Changing the Filter by values in a view

Hi all

I've inherited a model-driven app with a number of items that I've been asked to address. One of them is this:

  1. I have a view which has the  built-in Owner field listed on the view.
  2. The users filter their view using the Owner field.
  3. When a user clicks on Filter By, they are presented with a number of users which could be used in the filter. (Screenshot below)

The issue is that this filter drop down shows all of the non-interactive accounts rather than the actual user. As a workaround at the moment I've instructed the users to just start typing in there to get to the users they want, but is there a way to remove those interactive accounts from the filter?

I've gone through all of the views that I can find and have ensured that those accounts are filtered out, but it doesn't seem to make any difference to what I see in the filters.

Any insight as to whether it is possible or not is most welcome.

Thanks in advance
