10Patch solution is not recognised as an upgrade when importing.
Testing out the Patch solution on two unmanaged solutions in different environments.
I clone a patch of my first solution -> Export as Unmanaged -> Go to the new environment -> Import Patch
Then the issue comes up here. The yellow bar that alerts me that the solution is an upgrade doesn't show up. And if I complete the import, the patch gets added as a new solution instead of applying to the solution.
I have exported the first solution and imported to the second environment a few times. Both are unmanaged.
I read that the patch functionality work with both managed and unmanaged, so I am hoping that is not the issue.
Is there some step that I am missing? Or am I doing something wrong? Any guidance would be appreciated.
