"Upgrade" to a LOWER version of Teams!?!
I've set up an approval flow linked to a Dataverse in Teams instance: when a Dataverse item is created (by an app created within Power Apps for Teams) with an attached PDF, the built in 'Start_and_wait_for_an_approval' is supposed to kick in and send an IM and email (including the PDF of course) to the selected approver.
This works perfectly outside of Teams.
However, within Teams, I get the error message:
"The request failed. Error code: 'CdsApiAttachmentsNotSupported'. Error Message: 'Attachments are not supported by your Microsoft Dataverse instance version 2.0.4.3, type Teams. Please contact your admin to upgrade to at least version 2.0.0.19.'. "
Any idea
Or maybe it's just my specific issue somehow?
Thanks a lot.
Here is a screenshot of the report:
Ha Drew,
thanks for your thoughts and yes, this is supposed to be a simple approval flow.
The app made within Teams simply lists incoming invoices and when a new invoice gets uploaded to Dataverse for Teams from within the app, the person responsible for the invoice should approve the validity of the invoice.
I couldn't imagine a more simple approval process where someone actually needs to approve something.
The only "complication" is that they need to see the invoice (one small PDF file) itself to be able to approve it.
The invoices are in Dataverse in a "File" column (it works as you also mention), and each email contains a file with content.
This works with a Power Apps Developer Plan but if I do it with Teams (with MS365), I get this strange error code with the suggestion to upgrade/downgrade Teams.
I suppose, it's either a bug or a subscription issue...

Hi @msza ,
Not sure exactly on this one as both support file and image columns (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/teams/data-platform-compare).
Your flow looks like it wants to start a new approval per file? Is this what you are trying to do? Just wondering basd on the steps in your flow.
I also see a similar post from a while back (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Dataverse/The-request-failed-Error-code-CdsApiAttachmentsNotSupported/td-p/1341848) where it was mentioned to verify the file contains content. I have seen Microsoft article that discusses this as well but the error code is a bit different based on that article (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/power-automate-approval-attachment-limitations-and-restrictions-f19bc97c-b353-e3af-b156-6fb6a5a9c273)
