MS Form | Reminder Before Due Date

Hello All,

I have been reading articles about this all day, but I cannot find the solution to my issue. I have a MS form that has a "Start Date" option in it. Based on that date (which should always be more than 2 weeks away), we want to send an email 2 weeks before that date. If the date selected is sooner than 2 weeks away, send an email right away.

What is the correct method for this process? If it is a delay, do until, or condition - I cannot figure out the correct formual.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

    You probably want something like this:

    @365-Assist

    Thank you for your message! Based on your flow - it looks like it will only run once depending on the date. For my flow, we would need to do something like a "Do Until" action where it can keep checking to see if the parameters have been met. I just do not know how to check the follow parameters:

    - If the Start Date from the form is 30 days away or further, wait until it is 30 days away send an email, send another when the start date is 2 weeks away

    - If the Start Date from the form is sooner than 30 days, send an email immediately

    Any idea here?

    Perhaps you could run a scheduled trigger (on a daily basis)

    As far as your parameters are concerned its just different Date based conditions. For instance

    •  utcNow() equals addDays(Start Date,-30)
    • utcNow() Less than addDays(Start Date,-30)

    Thank you! That should work just fine with this method. I have also assigned a status column in a SharePoint list to mark as "Reminder Sent" so that reminders cannot be duplicated when filtering a list with a "Get Items" action.

    Thank you for your time!
