Trying to come up with an automation to loop through emails and send attachments

Hi all

I have an excel problem. Essentially, I have a bunch of first names, last names and emails, and I have a list of documents to send to the people based on whether they are supposed to get a document or not.

In the attachment below, Where there is a "y" in the document, the person needs to get an email with the relevant attachment.

I don't want a situation where the people get 10 different emails with 10 different attachments. I think from a customer perspective it is probably easier and better to send 1 email with 10 attachments.

I expect the attachments to be saved locally in the same folder. And the Attachment from D1 to P13 will have the same names as the attachments saved in the folder.

    Hi pipsy007,

not sure if you reach the size limit for attachments, when you attach so many files to the emails. Perhaps a link could be sufficient too. Would think about this before setting such solution into production.

Usually I would try to use cloud flows instead of desktop flows in such scenario, but not sure if you have special reasons to not use cloud flows.

In PAD you can read the excel file and use for each loop to process each row to generate the email.

In Power Automate you need to define the excel data in a table and the attachments accessible e.g. in a sharepoint folder to get it available for processing.

What exactly is your problem here? What have you already done and what are you struggling with?
