ASk a question in an Email

I have a flow created that sends an application request to the sr developer.  The request is a form filled out by the requester.  We have a field for project type which we use as a condition in the flow.  However, sometimes the requester picks the wrong project type and it gets sent to the wrong approval chain.  I would like to have the sr developer check the project type submitted by the requester and if it isn't correct he would change it.

Currently, I send the project request in an email approval to the sr developer for his comments and update my sharepoint list with his comments and approval response.  Is there any way that I can include in the approval email a question asking...is this project type correct?  If it isn't he could pick the right choice then his response would be sent to the sharepoint list to be used in the rest of the flows workflow conditions.

You could send emails with Adaptive Cards - here is a link for more info.

Please note that implementing this technique requires a premium license.

    Hi @HMM,

You can also try the Custom Responses using Approvals.

Custom responses are cool but we do not have premium. I ended up using Send email with options in a separate action after the approval. It is not a great option but it works.

a lot of my flows get more complicated than they need to be because we don’t have premium.

hi how are you, i'm fairly new to power automate, I was trying to play around a bit, but I sure need some help with it and wanted to know if its even possible to do, I will try to explain as best as I can. lets say I have 50 local pdf's and 50 invoices online and each one need to be attached to the correct invoice online, (the pdf is renamed the same name as the invoice online) so for example pdf 001 need to attached to invoices 001,and pdf 002 need to be attached to invoice 002 and etc.. and there is a lot of clicking in between

there are two steps that need to be done,

first step will be done once

the second step will be done multiple times and automated.

    here is the first step:

    - open chrome

    - website

    - click-login 1

    - click-login 2

    - click-Payables (drop-down)

    - click-Edit/Post Payable Batch

    - batch type "All" (drop-down)

    - batch# (type) "47027"

    - click-find

    - click-edit

    - click-on invoice 001

(all this need to be done only once).

second step: (im in invoice 001)

    - click-Functions (drop-down)

    - click-Attachments

    - (popup page opens) click-Upload

    - (popup page opens) click-Choose File

    - (local folder opens)

    - will choose specific folder where it contains the 50 pdf's

    - select pdf 001

    - click-save

    - (im back in the "choose file" popup page) click-Upload

    - (im back in the Upload popup page) click-save then click-Close.

now im back in invoice 001 and (the pdf is uploaded) - there's a next button which will bring me to invoice 002 and I will do the exact same thing other then selecting pdf 002, same goes for invoice 003 and etc. until it finishes all 50 invoices. is it possible for power automate to do that?

    thank you
