RPA runs properly in debug mode but stops suddenly when opened from shortcut

Hello community!

I've working on an RPA that pretty much opens a web page, downloads an Excel report, copies the content of the report, makes some modifications to the Excel report and then pastes it into an Excel File Data Base.

I've run the RPA in debug mode (see next image):

By running it from the debug mode, the RPA works fine. All the subflows are run properly.

However, when I run it from the shortcut (as seen in the next image), the RPA suddenly stops working, usually at the same step while making the modifications into the Excel Report file.

While running the RPA in this mode, there's no error warning, it simply stops.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing the error?

Regards!

Ricardo.

    Hello @ricardopq97

Are you capturing any logs, if not just put display message in every end of flow so you can realize which subflow getting stop.

    Hello Riyaz!

I did as you suggested and added the log messages at the end of every subflow.

As you can see, the RPA fails in the middle of the 3rd subflow (Modify_Excel_Report).

I have noted that it usually happens at step 45-46 of the subflow, which is deleting a column from the report.

I also noted that the RPA indicates "Canceled". While I'm running the RPA, I see in the flow monitoring window at the right-bottom of my screen a message indicating "cancelled by the user", which is of course something I don't do.

Hope this helps on getting to the solution.

    Regards!

    Ricardo.

Try checking the Application logs under the Windows Event Viewer for any errors when it happens. Maybe it crashes somehow.

Also, are you sure you're not accidentally pressing the shortcut for stopping the flow, which is Ctrl+Shift+Alt+T by default?
