Posting Teams message

i want power automate to send a teams message to user saying you have these many containers upcoming at site in next week. I have a dataverse table named containers. It has a 'date only' column named actual date of arrival on site. So what i want to achieve is, on ever monday, users receive a teams message telling them the containers with actual date of arrival of site from next week (not from current week) will be delivered to site. So if today is monday (10.01.2020) and there are lets say 5 containers with actual date of arrival site as 17.01.2020 (i.e. from the next week), then the user gets a teams message saying 5 containers will be delivered in the next week.
How can i achieve this?

    Hi @Anonymous

You have to use Recurrance flow to run every monday.

In the flow , calculate the next monday date. and then use list rows in dataverse table by filtering actual date of arrival on site = next monday date, once you get the list of values, you can take count of it using length function and pass that output using teams using post message in chat or channel 🙂

    Hope this idea helps !

Mark it as solution if it resolves your query !

    in filter rows section

    write query as

    columnname eq 'date_value'

replace columnname with columnname u want to filter

date_val replace with next monday date.

But setting the date value to next monday wont make it dynamic right? i want this to occur on every week's monday.
Correct me if i am wrong

    Hi @Anonymous

You are not making it as static value, you are making it dynamic

once flow starts, use the below expression to calculate the date like below

    formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),7),'yyyy-MM-dd')

This expression output you will pass to the date_value ,

in this way it would be dynamic all time 🙂
