Create a Flow within a Solution using a template

I created a template for a flow and shared it within my organisation, however, the flow utilises a Child Flow which is only supported for Flows stored in a solution.

The make.powerautomate site doesn't give me the option of creating a Flow from a template within the Solutions interface so I'm a little stuck.

Have I missed something or is this an oversight from Microsoft?

Hi , after you created the flow can you try to go into your solution, go to Flows, Add Existing, then click the Outside of Dataverse(means not in a solution) and add it to your solution?

And yes the template thing... a pain otherwise

Hi @FLMike ,

The problem is that you can't create the flow outside of a solution as it contains a Child Flow. I'd have to remove the Child Flow connectors and then add the newly created flow to the solution. Which would be fine if the Child Flow wasn't right in the middle and subsequent actions reliant on the output of the Child Flow 😅
