Hi there!

I am creating an app for registering the new events requests by the users.

I have a dropdown menu (Event Subtype) which is dependent on another dropdown menu (Event type).

I want to create an interactive form that contains mandatory fields, while the fields appearance is dependent on the dependent dropdown menu choice!

see screenshot below for a clear imagine.

When the user choose a certain Event Subtype, certain fields will be visible for him and so on.

I tried the following formula but I get an error which I can not understand.

could anyone pleases help me achieving my goal?

thanks in advance.

    Hi @HadilH ,

On what property are you adding the if statement?

It has to be on the DisplayMode property of the Event Name TextInput and must be like this:

    If('dropdown'.Selected.Value = "Customer meeting" DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.Disabled)

    Hi,

    Try SelectedText, not Selected

    Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value

    Hi @Tchesco

    Thanks for your replay!

I used to add the if statement on the Visible property.

regarding your solution, I still have an issue.

    Ok,

The issue is now with the dropdown, it is not "Value" it should be something else that's why it is underlined red, check your data source to verify that.
