Filtering by Portal User in Entity List doesn't work

Hello Community,

I'm using PowerApps Portal now and got completely stuck with Entity List.

In the portal, I want logged-in users to view their created records only.

I have tried the following settings with the insights already posted here;

1: Created a custom Entity and Entity List.

2: Created a lookup in "Contacts" with the relationship to the custom Entity

3: Filtered records in Entity List by Portal User Attribute with the lookup

 4: Enabled Entity Access

5: Selected "Contacts" in Entity Access Scope with the lookup

6: Authenticated User (Web Role) is associated with the Entity Permission.

Still this is not working and driving me crazy...

Would anybody help me out, please?

by entity access I guess you mean entity permissions right?

your settings looks fine from what you describe

    did you clear the cache?

also can you make sure you don't have a seconds entity permission to the same entity that could be conflicting?

    Hi Oliver,

Thanks for the reply. As you guess, I meant "Entity Permission", not Entity Access.

And yes, I do have 2 Entity Permissions to the same Entity.

One is Admin, scope set to Global, for those who have full access to the Entity

The other is User, scope set to Contacts.

I saw this solution here and configured accordingly, but this is not correct way?

Also I cleared cache, but the result was same.

does both entity permissions you created have association with a web role

I would suggest maybe removing one of them as a test

    Hello Oliver,

I figured out why it didn't work. The user control didn't function correctly.

After deleting the admin web role, I created a new one and it was fine!

Thank you very much for your help!!
