Combined Patch and SubmitForm function

Hi, I want create button that submit the form and also collect the name that filled the form automatically.

I try combine the patch and submitForm function as below;

Patch(
 'Sample System',
 Form1.LastSubmit;
 {
 Inputter: {
 '@odata.type': "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedUser",
 Claims: "i:0#.f|membership|" & User().Email,

 Form1.Updates
)

But it's only collect the form function, the "inputter" column still blank in sharepoint list.

What can I do to make this work?

Where did you put that formula? It should be in the OnSuccess property of the form.

in the button, since the button as the trigger to collect the form

The button should have only SubmitForm(Form1), anything else belongs in the OnSuccess property of the form. It should only execute if the form successfully submits.

@DrrickrypI've tried it, but data entry will be separately in the SP list.
I need a button that will make one data entry, but I want the "inputter" field to be filled in automatically.

Form1.LastSubmit;
change to
Form1.LastSubmit,
