Time is not saved at 00:00:00 even tho selected to be so? Form/time/date

I need date/time to be saved like this

2022-01-02T00:00:00Z

Datevalue and time should always be set at 00:00:00

But every time i save the form in powerapps the time is set to 23:00:00

Why?

This is my form:

Datefield defaultdate is set to : Text(Now();"yyyy-mm-dd") have also tried just Now() same result.

Hour field default is set to : "00"

Minute field default is set to : "00"

This is the card in the form.

How do i get it to save at time T00:00:00Z and not T23:00:00Z

Hi @Oskarkuus ,

I just tested it here and it worked perfectly

although mine was on SharePoint (I assume yours is Excel). Are you sure you do not have a timezone issue - to check, try saving 1:00 am and see what it writes back as.

My datasource is Dataverse.
I have found that if i manually set the time one hour back in Powerapps form, then it is saved as i want.

But i do not know how to set timezone in dataverse?

I also setup a sharepoint list and then the time is saved as expected. So it has to be something with dataverse and timezones somehow.... but i do not know why and how

Since the datecolumn in dataverse display date+time and i primarly only use the date but i do not want to remove time since it might be needed in the future, i want to set the default time to 00:00:00 no matter what timezone or settings the enduser have.

I solved it by making the column date only and removed the time function from my app.

But i never found out why timezone did not match the current one setup in our enviroment.

Tho i think the problem is daytime saving.

Might it be that dataverse dont take that into account?
