"Extract tables from PDF" activity not working for few PDFs

Hello There,

I am using "Extract tables from PDF" activity for extracting Table from a set of PDFs. This is working fine for couple of PDFs.

However not working for few PDFs. for there PDFs (Size: 97kb) "Extract tables from PDF" activity runs for even 15 minutes but nothing happens nor the step fails but the bot keeps running.

Anyone faced this situation? Any help would be much appreciated. Attached the PDF for reference.

Activity Extract Tables from PDF works for me,

BUT

You have to turn the advanced option "Merge tables that cross page margins" To False. It's on by Default. This should be the solution.

(Also I don't know if that is private Data or not, but if so. Please don't put that online to the public.)

Thank you @OkanAT for the response. The option "Merge tables that cross page margins" helps to merge tables across pages. It does not help when this option is turned off. So is this a PAD bug to be fixed?

(Also i have remove the PDF attachment.)

Hi everyone,

Same problem here, but i do have an error report in my case.

There is some great potential in this tool, hope it gets some kind of fix.

This error indicates that your file is corrupted. Can you actually open it manually?

Yes, I can. No problem with Acrobat Reader.

I can´t notice the diference between pdfs that report the error and those which not. Both have the same structure and tables, they are very similar at first sight, only differs in data.

Can you share a screenshot of your flow? Perhaps you're downloading your file from somewhere and trying to access it before the download is complete or something.
